Leaders: YOU Can Earn Free Berths PLUS Benefits for Your Group!!!
|
|
|
Leaders can earn free berths for inviting their friends to join them on a specific cruise. With cruises, the general rule of thumb is one free berth for 15 full fare guest (full fare guests are 1st and 2nd berths only). A berth is the per person cruise rate, based on double, excluding port charges, taxes and fees. This free berth is referred to as the Tour Conductor (TC); tour conductor is also responsible for his/her own transportation to and from the ship, insurance and gratuities.

Various cruise lines offer different amenities that we can arrange for your group to help you close the sale by obtaining deposits at a cruise party event or by a certain deadline date. Typical options might include, for example, a bottle of wine one evening at dinner, chocolate covered strawberries in the cabin, a group photo, a $25 shipboard credit or an onboard drink party.
Certain minimums will apply to these special benefits and one of the ways we help your group reach these minimums is by offering an Each-One-Bring-One Drawing for onboard credit. The only way to enter this drawing is to sign up a new couple that the leader (that's you!) doesn't know. This is a great way to grow your group in directions you would never have considered--and it involves everyone by giving each new cabin to deposit the opportunity to invite a friend or relative in another community . . . who can then invite someone else again that you don't know! Your group can be limitless . . . while the drawing prize grows larger . . . and the group benefits continue to accrue!
Each group will vary by cruise line, ship and departure date. Linda, your group coordinator will work closely with you to develop a group plan that helps you motivate your group members to help you reach your free berth goals . . . while entering the shipboard credit drawing and earning other benefits for themselves!

If your group has unique preferences, we can price the cruise including all the special values you appreciate. For example, we can pre-arrange golf tee times for your group or perhaps a special party boat shore excursion. Perhaps your group would enjoy a sunrise worship service followed by fresh danish and coffee or juice. If your group enjoys fun and friendly comraderie, perhaps you'd like us to arrange an onboard game show event or a private Marguerita Party or a Wine & Cheese Event (for example). Tell us what you'd like and we'll make the arrangements.
If your group is a social, civic or church group with a favorite community or mission project, we can help you structure a fund-raiser event around your cruise to help you reach those fund-raising goals with matching monies from your cruise. Just tell us upfront how much you'd like to raise and we'll work out a program to help you meet those goals. [Certain restrictions do apply.]

One of the best benefits of a well-planned group experience is that your group's fun starts with the very first presentation event. We'll come show a video, review some of the highlights of what cruising is all about and answer all your group's questions. As a leader, you invite a minimum number of potential passengers to come hear about your group's planned cruise and see the video. Plus, we'll usually offer an extra special benefit for signing up at the party.
If you book far enough in advance, we may even offer a second presentation--once your core group of friends from the first party are out there inviting their own family and friends. This will give these new people a chance to see the video, plus we'll focus a segment on the latest Homeland Security
requirements to keep it pertinent for those who have already signed up. Sometimes the momentum at the second party can be extra fun as the departure date starts closing in!
Then as a special send-off, we'll schedule a quickie event to deliver the tickets and take the first pictures of your group for the group's photo albumn. For your group, the cruise experience has already begun!
